TODAY I CAN DO ANYTHING tops OSCAR

Ranya Batal is wearing her TODAY I Can Do Anything on her upper arm and Actress Nia Vardalos sports the TICDA wristband.

We could be wrong, but I don’t think the Academy of Motion Pictures Arts and Sciences (AMPAS) allows for product placement on top of an Oscar. There always a first in Hollywood.

This was the first nomination for French composer Ludovic Bource, and it was his first major international film. So after receiving his Oscar- beating out heavyweight Oscar Contenters HowardShore, Alberto Iglesias and John Williams for best original score for his work on the silent film “The Artist.” He celebrated in style saying, “I can do anything today,” and first put ‘I CAN DO ANYTHING’ wristband on, then he place on top of his Academy Award.

It was the first time in decades a silent film won an Oscar, too.

Bource earlier won the Golden Globe for his composition.

CEO Ranya Batal was surprised after she asked Bource if he would wear the wristband, and got even more excited when the French composer crowned the Academy Award for a photo op.

Ranya Batal at Italian Film Festival with Tatoo on her arm

Earlier during Oscar week, Batal painted a temporary “TODAY I CAN DO ANYTHING” on her upper right arm.

She walked on the Italian Film Festival red carpet creating a buzz among such Hollywood stars as Nia Vardalos (My Big Fat Greek Wedding), Conner Weil (Lies in Plain Sight (2010)  and Daniala Bobadila (Oliver’s Ghost (2011) Alex Meneses (Something About Raymond)  and Jeff Garlin (Curb Your Enthusiasm (2000) to name a few.

All of the celebrities wore the wristbands when they left the event.  23-year old entrepreneur Ranya Batal, CEO, who was inspired by life coach Anthony “Tony” Robbins, said,  “Today anyone can do anything, one good deed at a time.”
